This is the first meeting, in writing.

Seven questions. It takes fifteen minutes and it is not a contact form — the answers are what I start drawing from. Some of them are uncomfortable to answer; that is why they are in here.

You do not have to finish in one go. What you write is kept in your own browser until you send it.

What do you do, said to someone who has never heard of you?
One sentence. If it is hard to write, that is usually the real problem, not the website.

What does it look like when someone walks in?
The light, the materials, the noise, what sits on the counter. A site that does not feel like the room is the wrong site, and this is the only way I get to know how the room feels.

What is the one thing a customer needs to know before they come?
The thing you say on the phone forty times a week. It belongs at the top of the site, and it is almost never what businesses put there.

Who are you tired of being compared to?
The most useful question in the whole brief. Name them — it stays between us, and it says more about what you want to be than any list of adjectives will.

Is there anything you absolutely do not want?Optional
Colours, words, mannerisms. One thing you know you hate is worth three things you think you like.

How will you know if the site is working?
What should have changed in six months. More bookings, fewer calls, different customers — say it in something you can actually count.

Timing and budget?
Bespoke starts at 65,000 kr excluding VAT and takes at least eight weeks. Tell me what you had in mind and I will say whether it adds up, before either of us spends time on it.
